Plans and implements network security, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to network applications, managing Domain security, DHCP, file permissions, back-up and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity and adding/deleting users on Active Directory. Implementation of Group Polices, Active Directory Publications, Remote Access & Remote Operating System Installations. Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stores or accessed by the network. NETWORK RESPONSIBILITIES Installs and monitors local area network (LAN) and wide area networks WAN in office/Branches and ensure that LAN and WAN performance meets users requirement.. Troubleshoots networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctioning and other operational difficulties. HARDWARE Installs, configures and maintains Servers, personal computers, networks, workstations, file servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling and related equipment, devices and systems. Evaluates and / or recommend purchase of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment and softwares. Order / Purchase Hardware from Vendors/Outside. Upgrades and configure modems, disc devices, data acquisition boards, CD/DVD-RW units, printers and related equipment.
