BREAKING NEWS: Wall Street Poised to Tumble at Open

Stock-index futures were pointing to heavy declines ahead of the open following strong selling in global markets after fresh setbacks to Europe's bid to contain its deepening debt crisis weighed heavily on sentiment. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures tumbled 226 points, or 1.9%, while yields on U.S. government debt fell sharply as traders raced out of equities and into safe-haven assets.
