Ownership of technical issues, and act as IS liaison between Users/ IS Hardware Team/Vendor for development (after getting proper approval) and resolving IRS operational issues. Dealing with Vendor for new Enhancement / Bugs / New Reports developments. Perform administration of Business Application and manage the following setups in Business Application (with approvals from Business heads) New User Creation / Deletion , User Access Rights (New / Updation) New Document Type opening of All Modules Main Item Location Document Type (according to location) Verification and un-verification rights on documents Daily Backup of Business Application. First line helpdesk support for Business Application user at both Plant and HO user. Coordinate with all functions for technical support of IRS and its component modules. Connectivity to be arrange/provided at different locations Co-ordinate in finalizing SOP's with users and SOP's to be reviewed by internal Auditor. Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes. Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology. Business Application / 2x Client Installation on PC's/Laptops during Season /off Season on different locations. Facilitate users and ensure smooth running and troubleshooting of software. Participation in providing Business Application related training to new users as and when required basis. Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting of our Business Application Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements. Provide SQL Server administration in live and test environments. Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc. Verify database and data integrity.
