Main Purpose of the Job: Holder of this position requires to coordinates grants related processes within IRP and liaison with respective donors to ensure proper initiation and closure of projects. S/he also responsible for coordinating with other sections within IRP for compiling donor reports while ensuring high quality and timely submission. Person will also provide support to resource mobilization and for proposal development. 1. Work closely with the country team and partner organisations in the development, sign off and submission of proposals and reports to donors for IRP ensuring that they meet all the donor requirements and based on the information from the needs assessments by the different programme departments and to submit them to HQ for consideration. 2. Develop uniform grant protocol for IRP and ensure their use. 3. Ensure that donor grants are properly managed and IR Pakistan adheres to donor rules and regulations. 4. In conjunction with the country team, represent IR Pakistan to donors while ensuring that meeting notes and other relevant communications are circulated. 5. Participate and report in co-ordination meetings in country as appropriate (in liaison with the programme heads 6. Lead on putting together and ensuring that the IR Pakistan Funding Grid is kept up to date and posted to IRW. 7. Ensure training need assessment of the staff related to grants and reporting specifically for reporting and proposal writing skills and if possible deliver training and support area/field offices regarding adherence to donor requirements and guidelines in order to strengthen relationships with key donors and ensure accountability. 8. Be responsible for ensuring that funding files, both electronic and paper, are complete and kept up to date. 9. Understand and maintain IR Pakistan's donor income and reporting requirements database and other internal systems, ensuring the Asia Desk at International Office receives information to respond to their reporting requirements in a timely and professional manner. 10. Coordinate and share information on donors, funding updates, income, funding and contract management to relevant programme and funding teams as appropriate to ensure sound coordination of donor relations within IR Pakistan. 11. Liaise with appropriate local organisations, Governments, NGOs and UN bodies in pursuit of programme aims and IR report writing requirements 12. Compile reports and information including the current and the future needs based on assessments made by relevant other staff. All needs assessment reports and projects information is sent to International Office. 13. To ensure that there is an adequate information flow on project and programme activities within the office departments and to HQ and relevant partners through development of a simple reporting system.
