BREAKING NEWS: Alcoa Posts Mixed 3Q Results, Shares Dip

Alcoa got the third-quarter earnings season off to a mixed start Tuesday after the bell, posting earnings that were well short of views, despite an upside surprise on the revenue front. The company earned 15 cents a share on revenue of $6.4 billion. Wall Street was looking for earnings of 22 cents on sales of $6.2 billion. The stock is off about 2% in late trading.
