BREAKING NEWS: Housing Starts, Permits Fall in July

Housing starts fell 1.5% in July to a 604,000-unit rate, topping economists' estimates of a 600,000-unit rate. Permits to build new homes fell 3.2% in July to a 597,000-unit rate, coming in under the 605,000-unit rate economists had expected.
